Koala's Backpackers 3 Day Camping Safari
Koala’s 3 Day 2 Night 4x4 Self Drive Adventure Safari depart from their Hervey Bay hostel daily. They have group numbers of 8 or 9. The briefing for the trip occurs at 3pm on the day before you depart. After our briefing the group are taken shopping for all their food and alcohol. The morning of your trip you are all given a comprehensive briefing on how to drive on the island and information on tide times during you trip. You will then head off in your Toyota Landcruiser Troop Carrier. The tours depart daily and include all camping and cooking gear, National Park Permits, Return Ferry Ride, Vehicle hire, bag storage and full briefing.
Those wishing to drive must be over 21 years of age and hold a current drivers licence. A fuel deposit for the vehicle is $10.00 per person.
Price: AU$135 per person plus food, alcohol and ice. This is approximately an extra $60 per person.
