Fraser Island - Camping Accommodation

Fraser Island offers both National Park camping and private camp ground options. The are 6 National Park camping grounds on Fraser Island and 2 private camp grounds.

Fraser Island - National Park Camping

Only basic facilities are provided at the Fraser Island National Park camp sites including showers, picnic tables, bbq's, toilets and tap water. In order to book your camp site you will need to visit Queensland National Parks and Wildlife website and follow the links.

Fraser Island - Private Camping Grounds

  • Frasers at Cathedral Beach
  • Dilli Village

Private camp grounds are avialable at Dilli Village and Cathedral Beach. Frasers at Cathedral Beach offers a lush and quiet setting situated on 25 acres. It provides a choice of self contained cabins to spacious camp sites

Please note: When camping you are required to store all foods and rubbish securley away to discourage dingos and can be fined for failure to do so. All campers require a camping permit which are available at the ferries going to Fraser Island. These tags must be displayed on all tents and easily visable to Fraser Island park rangers.
