Depart Brisbane via Noosa and Double Island Point with a visit to the colured sands at Rainbow Beach (tides permitting). Explore the township of Rainbow Beach before boarding the ferry to Fraser Island. Discove Lake Wabby and the sandblow before an evening of relaxation and star gazing.
Day 2 sees a visit to Indian Head where dolphin and turtle spotting takes place. Along with whale watching when in season. 4WD to Orchid Beach where you can see Fraser Island's northern tip called Sandy Cape. Lunch at Dundaburra and Wangul snadblow. Spend the afternoon in the cooling rainforest and visit Eli Creek, the Maheno shipwreck and the coloured sands.
Depart early for a trip to Central Station, Fraser Island's centre for logging during it's past. Travel on to Lake McKenzie or Lake Birrabeen before returning home.
This tour has both National Park camping and the world class Kingfisher Bay Resort and Eco Village options.
