How to get to Fraser Island
To access Fraser Island you will have to travel from either Hervey Bay, River Heads (just outside Hervey Bay) or Rainbow Beach. There are both vehicle and pedestrian ferries available from these points. The table below indicates the prices of each of these ferries as well as the time they depart from both the mainland and the island. Note each ferry lands at different locations on Fraser Island. Please refer to the map of the island to check which destination suits your travel plans best.
