Palace Adventures 3 Day Camping Safari
Take the opportunity to join like minded travellers with the flexibility to discover Fraser Island’s attractions at your own pace. You can choose campsites ranging from popular sites with facilities to remote out of the way spots. You select your own camping equipment so you know what you have on board and this ensures no surprises when setting up camp. A suggested itinerary gives you the opportunity to discover the amazing beauty of Fraser Island. The classic Aussie camping trip sleeping under a blanket of stars.
They supply-
- 4WD Landcruisers with unique hightop storage
- Quality camping and cooking equipment
- Suggested menu and grocery lists
- Return barge tickets and National Park fees
There is a maximum group of 10 people and briefing is held on the morning of the tour departure at the Palace Backpackers in Hervey Bay. All drivers must over the age of 21 and hold a current drivers licence.
Don’t forget to bring suscreen, insect repellent, hat, camera, shoes, warm clothes and some coins for if you stay at a camp site with hot showers!!!
Extra Changes (approximately)-
- $6 if you need a sleeping bag.
- $10-20 for food.
- $40 for fuel, vehicle cleaning, ice and insurance waiver.
The group also contributes a $1000 bond payable half in cash and half on credit card.
